Wrangle Village is a free, independent website for everyone who lives in, works in or visits Wrangle — a fenland village on the A52 between Boston and Skegness, about eight miles north-east of Boston and a mile or so in from The Wash.
It's here to make three things easy:
- Finding out what's on — coffee mornings, church services, club nights, fundraisers, the Show and anything else happening locally.
- Finding local people and businesses — the pub, the shop and Post Office, takeaways, trades, coaches, growers, the school, churches and clubs.
- Knowing a bit about the place — Wrangle has a longer and more interesting story than most people realise. Have a look at the history page.
Add your event — always free
Anyone can send in an event. We give each one a quick check, then it goes live. There's no charge, now or later.
The village directory
Every local business, club and group gets a full listing free for the first year — description, opening hours, website, email and a link to the map. After that:
- A basic listing (name, category and phone number) stays free for good.
- A full listing is just £12 a year, which helps cover the cost of running the site.
If your details are wrong, or you're missing, let us know. If you'd rather not be listed, just say and we'll take it down.
Who runs this?
Wrangle Village is a community project by Extreme Overkill Ltd, a small digital services company based here in Wrangle, and it's hosted by Zenlabra. It's run first and foremost for the village: any listing fees go towards hosting and running the site.
It's independent and non-political — it isn't run by or connected to Wrangle Parish Council. For official parish business, notices and minutes, see the Wrangle Parish Council website.
